1. The Maori name of New Zealand is Aotearoa which means the land of the long white cloud.
2 .It is one of the three countries in the world that has two official national anthems of equal standing. The first is God Save the Queen and the other is God Defend New Zealand.
3. Queen Elizabeth II is officially Queen of New Zealand, represented in the country by a Governor General.

Those are some interesting facts about New Zealand! I have lived in this country my whole life and did not know about some of these facts so thank you for telling me more about our country, well done Spencer! Please remember to make sure you put information into your own words next time. I read about Kings and Queens all the time in fairy tales, books and movies so I think it's pretty awesome that our country has a Queen. Would you want to be a part of the royal family? Do you think it would be pretty cool to live like a king or a prince?
